Boston’s Top 10 Mens Hairstyles 2016: What’s Trending Today
These days, the latest trends change so fast that it’s almost impossible to stay up to date with whats hot and whats not.
This isn’t that big of a deal if you’re satisfied with your current style. But if you’re in the market for a new look you don’t want something that is already out of date.
And as you well know, staying up to date with the latest fashion and mens style trends takes tremendous amounts of time.
Here at STUDIO 27, we know that your looks are important. But we also know you have a busy and hectic schedule which makes it impossible to always be up to date on emerging mens hairstyles and trends coming out of Hollywood and New York.
That’s why our Professional STUDIO 27 Stylist’s have combed through all of the latest celebrity and mens hairstyle trends and narrowed it down to the Top 10 Men’s Hairstyles for 2016:
10. High Fade with Long Hair On Top
This is a clean look that can be easily pulled off by anyone with straight hair or mostly straight hair. If you used to rock the comb-over or have a clean natural part – consider this haircut as a trendy and good looking alternative that is in style, looks great, and doesn’t require too much prep time.
9. Longer Hair With Short Sides
Sexy slicked back look that will make the ladies in the club stop and stare! You need some length to pull this one off, but even if your hair is shorter than the picture – don’t count it out. We have some tricks we can pull off to make this look still work for you.

8. Longer Natural Hair Slick Pomp
The Pompadour is back! This style originated in England and become popular when Elvis rocked his Pomp at concerts and shows around the world! Many variations of the Pomp are emerging lately and we absolutely love how it looks with long natural hair.
7. Low Skin Fade Pompadour
Another variation of the Pompadour, this one is a little easier to maintain since the sides are short and the top is straight back. The Pompadour is this year’s celebrity top choice and is the mens hairstyle endorsed by Brad Pitt and many others.
6. Medium Length Mens Classic Hairstyles
This look is timeless, stunning, and looks great on just about everyone. We just love this one since it only takes a few minutes to style and stays looking great all day.
5. Short Sides Longer Hair with Texture On Top
If you’ve got thick and straight hair, try out some texture! Texture is a great way to add style and flair to straight hair.
4. Short Sides Long Natural Looking Hair On Top
This is almost a variation of the Pomp, but with a less extreme fade to the top. We wanted to throw this one in as it looks great with dirty blond summer hair.
3. Slicked Back Hair With Blow Dryer
This blow-dry look is hot, modern, and catchy! The nice thing about this style is that it will look great in a suit, at the club, or even at the gym. The only down side to this look, is the need for a blow dryer.
2. Textured Crop
This variation of the short hair classic fade looks amazing if you want to keep that short and easy to manage style. The texture on top makes this cut unique, and helps add personality and charm to this classic style.
1. Tousled Volume
And last but not least, this Modern Einstein look is sexy, vibrant, and ready to hit the club. This look will boost your confidence and have the ladies lining up. But it’s not just for the club. With about 15 minutes of prep time – you can be rocking this cut daily.
